Different heights to make ceilings cross

Thinking to a ceiling that can be crossed with another one seems to be a real big problem for me! Because I want to cover the passage in some way and make the smaller volume slide as well. How can I do this? Looking back to this project I was thinking to divide the roof in modules and find some way to make them cross.

As you can see from my sketches I was trying to find movement in the roof as well. But this make everything much more complicated, since it's not a statuesque architecture and it has to be transportabled as well so it should be as more simple as possible.

Talking with Victoria, during the Design Communication seminar, she helped me a lot reaching an easier solution for my kiosk. No crossing beams but different heights! Of course I loose the movement that I wanted but this solution can make my life easier!

So the result is having a glass between these two roofs that slides with them. In this way I don't have problems of having parts not covered and holes created by this movement.
To test this idea I made a very simple model.

Obviously I have still to think about how I'm going to close the passage if it's cold or it's raining.

But I have obtained the same effect of the orange sketch!
