Looking at this project (Modular Home by MEKA) I thought that it was made by two different volumes. Actually the volume is one and they covered almost all the volume with wood, covering with glass the remaining part. But what I can see is this strong difference between something opaque and something transparent. And this is the effect that I want obtain from my project.

The design of House Vote by Herbs Architects is a good starting point for my research in light materials since here we can see that they have used polycarbonate instead of glass. So the structure is much more lighter. Probably this kind of structure is not good for my project since I need to use an insulating material and also make a tubes system to change the air within the building. This because I'm going to put a kitchen or something similar in my kiosk.

I should also think about how to optimize the spaces. This is the Micro Compact Home by Prof Richard Horden, and a team from the Institute for Architecture and Product Design of the Technical University Munich in Germany. When I went in Munich last year I saw this project, it was like a ripetition of this design to form the O2 student village.
I have been in one of this homes because a kind boy made me and my friend see how was the interior space. I don't remember many details, except for the fact that it was very very small!
But this compact home works also for the good technology used and also for the light materials used. The good other thing is that since it's very small it can be placed easily everywhere.
